Know the starting point before the sales call.

Scope still matters, but a small-business owner should not need three meetings just to find out whether a website is roughly £700 or £7,000.

  • Canonical URLs, metadata, sitemap and robots
  • Security and cache headers suitable for the deployment
  • Accessibility-minded navigation and forms
  • Google Search Console launch guidance
  • Domain connection support

What can change the price

Large content migrations, ecommerce, bespoke software, complex account systems, third-party integrations, extensive copywriting or large-scale location/service architecture can move a project beyond the starting packages. That should be obvious in the proposal rather than appearing as surprise extras later.
